ePropulsion I-Series Electric Inboard Motor Crowned Winner at The British Yachting Awards 2023
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our innovative I-Series Electric Inboard Motor has been awarded the prestigious title of 'Equipment Innovation of the Year' at The British Yachting Awards 2023. This remarkable achievement marks our second triumph at these esteemed awards, following the success of our Spirit 1.0 Evo outboard motor in 2021.
The British Yachting Awards, a high point in the UK sailing calendar, are presented by Sailing Today and Yachts and Yachting Magazine. These awards are particularly special as they reflect the voice of the public; every winner is chosen solely through public voting, showcasing genuine admiration and support from the sailing community.
Our I-Series Electric Inboard Motor stood out amongst an impressive roster of nominees in the "Equipment Innovation of the Year" category. We were up against some formidable competition, including the Selden Mast CXe45 electric Code 0 furler, the innovative Revolve Boat Hook, the advanced AngelNav, the user-friendly Savvynavvy app, and the lifesaving Ocean Signal RescueMe PLB3.
This award is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in marine propulsion technology. The ePropulsion I-Series represents a significant leap forward in electric inboard motor technology, offering exceptional performance, unmatched efficiency, and an eco-friendly alternative to traditional propulsion systems. It's not just a win for ePropulsion; it's a win for sustainable boating and for the future of our oceans.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted for the I-Series Motor. Your support and belief in our vision fuel our ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of marine technology. This accolade inspires us to continue developing groundbreaking solutions that contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable marine environment.
I am most humbled to be here again in the magnificent setting of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, in the company of such esteemed industry colleagues and to once again be receiving the BYA equipment innovation award. It is a testament to the innovative spirit that drives us and, perhaps more notably, to the boating community's rapidly increasing expectations that their pleasure time need not be diminished by the noise and smell of combustion engines, nor the environment they enjoy be damaged by them. My heartfelt thanks go to the organisers and their supporters but most of all to everyone that voted for us. Thank you all!
As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to continuing our journey of innovation and to leading the charge in the electrification of the marine industry. Here's to creating a more sustainable future, together.
